Troubleshooting Tips

Having audio problems? Replacing your phone's handset and/or handset cord may be the solution. Before you order, we offer a few troubleshooting tips:

Borrow a handset from a working telephone of the same model and plug it in to the handset cord on your telephone. If that solves the problem, replace your handset. Still not working?

Replace the original handset. Borrow the handset cord from that working telephone and replace your handset cord with it. If that solves the problem, replace your handset cord. Still not working?

Swap both the handset and handset cord from your phone with those from the working telephone. If that solves the problem, replace your handset and handset cord (all handsets from DRHandsets.com include a new handset cord).
